York airport Thomasville PA restaurant closing known as Kitty Hawk closing date December 29, 2013

Owner Gary/Belinda or closing Kitty Hawk restaurant business hasn't been very good lately at one time you can expect 150 or more planes a month eaten At restaurant and Now You're lucky to get a handful a drop of over 75% People at airport business dropped 90% People Walk in drop roughly 65% This is due to people having less money high fuel costs But they say things are getting better? Gary/Belinda both enjoyed working at York airport and we love working with the public but with rising fuel Costs food Costs etc. we no longer can keep up with the operation Gary has put Thousands of his own money And Belinda thank God she Won small lottery put in thousand's of her own money to keep restaurant open as long as we can. First two years seen increases of almost 50% last three years we seen decreases each year of almost 50% Gary/will save running time of over 6900 miles a year Running out of my way to take Belinda to restaurant and get supplies Plus time Getting supplies 10 weeks of 40 hours shopping for Kitty Hawk and supplies. Belinda / has several opportunities to go in cooking feild for several different places where she may be able to foundry get her own paycheck. Keep eye on www. Kittyhawkeats.blogspot.com / merchandiser. I expect 2014 to be a much worse year and 2013 business for the last five years 2009 2010 2011 all had a decline of great deal of money dropping almost 50% each year. We are in the middle of nowhere and just located too far off the road. We are the fifth Restaurant owners Who tried to make York airport work I want to give my great appreciation to Belinda for sticking out The rest of our five-year lease Belinda has been working the last two years for very little Pay for amount of hours she puts in Our hours to our last date December 29, 2013 Monday's/closed Tuesday through Saturday 7:00Am to 2:30 PM Sunday 8 to 1
